No I don't have specific problems with vmware tools.
The problem appeare just after I upgrade my Ubuntu from 12.10 to 13.04.
It's generate the message following the first time I run the vmware tools script:
Searching for a valid kernel header path...
The Path "" is not valid path to the 3.8.0-19-generic kernel headers.
Would you like to change it? [yes]
